Raleigh orthopedic Clinic is Wake County’s oldest orthopedic practice. Our roots in providing orthopedic medicine to central and eastern North Carolina can be traced back to 1919, when our original founders, Dr. Hugh Thompson, Dr. Walter Hunt, and Dr. Thomas Dameron opened Wake County’s first general surgery practice with a focus in Orthopedics, and in 1959, these three surgeons named the practice Raleigh orthopedic Clinic (ROC).
